Seminarian Circle members are parishioners of the Archdiocese of Anchorage who want to help fund seminarian formation. Various liturgies and events provide the opportunity to share in spiritual development and build relationships with each other, the Archbishop and our future priests.
The Future of Our Church
The Archdiocese of Anchorage has been blessed with some of the largest classes of seminarians in recent history. We continue to have young men committed to serve those in need and be a sign of Christ’s presence in our parishes and faith communities.
What the Fund Supports
Each year of formation costs over $50,000 for one seminarian. Support for the Seminarian Formation Fund is possible through support from ALL Catholics.
What is required to become a member?
Make a $1,000 minimum contribution renewable at the start of each fiscal year (July 1 – June 30). Gifts may be made annually, twice a year or quarterly. A reminder is sent so donations can be paid in full by fiscal year-end. Automatic payments can be set up as well.
Other Methods of Payment
Attend the various seminarian formation fundraisers and reach your membership pledge through donations at those events – e.g., Archbishop’s Golf Tournament and the Seminarian Night Dinner Fundraiser.
Be Archbishop Etienne’s guest for a summer Mass, barbecue, and Christmas Reception. Meet and get to know our seminarians in the knowledge that you are investing in the future of our Church by helping to fund their formation.
