Pastoral Day: The Emmaus Model for Every Parish Minister
Wednesday, April 10, 2019
Holy Spirit Center
10:00am – 3:00pm

“If you remain in my word, you will be my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (John 8:31)

The 2018 Vatican Synod on Young People. Faith & Vocational Discernment has implications for EVERY parish minister. From the parish custodian to the pastor. We can ALL learn from the Synod’s insights on reaching the “young church” and how Jesus· example of the road to Emmaus (Luke 24) shapes parish ministry. Dr. Timothy Mullner will guide us through the Synod’s recommendations and highlight how to use the Emmaus model. The day will conclude with a session on bringing Joy to our parish programs.

Meet our Presenter, Timothy Mullner, D. Min., KHS

Timothy believes in lifelong spiritual formation. His roots include parish. Diocesan. And Catholic publishing ministry. A catechist at heart. Timothy has served as a director of youth & young adult ministry. Parish musician and liturgy coordinator. Director of RENEW. And an adjunct professor at St. John’s University. He holds a BA in Religious Studies/Youth Ministry.
