Christmas Gifts Brother Francis Shelter

Christmas is a great way to share the spirit of the season with everyone at the shelter. The Anchorage community is so generous to the people we serve all year but especially during the Holidays.

The most helpful way for you to donate to guests at Brother Francis Shelter is to give the items listed below, unwrapped, in a gift bag or box. Volunteers will sort the items and make gift packages to hand out to our guests the week preceding Christmas.

You can help by giving needed gifts, including: shirts, jackets, hats, gloves, hand warmers, socks (all sizes for both men & women), candy, granola bars, nuts, gum, mints, small drink mixes, notebooks, pens/pencils, small games, decks of cards, combs, toothbrush, soap, razor, shampoo, nail clippers, lip balm, tissues, and alcohol-free hand sanitizer.

Gifts can be dropped-off at Brother Francis Shelter, 1021 E. 3rd Avenue, between 9AM and 8PM. The Christmas gifts drop-off deadline is Monday, December 18 and please give items unwrapped, in a gift bag or box.
