At least three years’ experience with “whole community catechesis” including elementary, middle and high school students, as well as parents and senior parish members. Applicants must possess strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills as well as be adept at social media, multimedia, tech and presentation software and their use in ministry. Familiarity with youth culture and with the trends and issues important to children and young people is a plus. Reporting to the department director, the Donor Communications Manager contributes to and implements the development-specific communication strategy with the goal of planning and creating communications that educate, engage, cultivate, and inspire philanthropic support for and engagement with CSS and its 7 programs.
This is a high-profile position that guides the Executive team, department and program directors and the Board of Trustees’ Finance Committee in their oversight of the financial management of CSS. The position is responsible for managing the Finance Department, the budgeting, financial reporting, annual audit(s) and the accounting for the agency. It is also responsible for maintaining positive relationships with financial institutions, grantors, and the financial community by performing the essential functions of the position.
Training and Community Resource Director
The Training and Community Resource Director is responsible for creating and delivering agency-wide training that enhances the competencies of CSS staff; training community partners; identifying and establishing relationships with resources that will be a benefit to the people we serve; act as a liaison between CSS staff and community resources.
