Chief Operating Officer
This position assists the CEO in planning, designing, developing, and maintaining strong and effective administrative operations of the agency. The COO will oversee high level operational and administrative duties essential to the effective operation of the agency, including financial accountability, risk management and mitigation, and strategic resources development among other components. This position is expected to provide the highest level of leadership and performance and provide the CEO with strategic support. Administrative Assistant/Human Resource Assistant | This position serves as the central support staff for the CSS Center. Responsible for greeting visitors and directing them to various programs in the Center, answering and directing phone calls, data entry, administrative support to programs and administration, and the over-all efficient functioning of the Center.
Grants Coordinator Grants | Oversees and coordinates the grant application and management process. This will include identification of new funding sources, development of funding resources for existing and proposed programs and/or services, writing grants, reviewing funding proposals, developing budgets, collaborating on grant applications with CSS program directors and administrators. The Grants Coordinator will oversee CSS internal grants committee and work closely with the CSS Grants Administrator. This position will report to the Director of Data and Quality Improvement who will help the Grants Coordinator work across programs and departments to gain a better understanding of the current funding needs and what grants and programs are in place.
Donor Communications Manager | Reporting to the department director, the Donor Communications Manager contributes to and implements the development-specific communication strategy with the goal of planning and creating communications that educate, engage, cultivate, and inspire philanthropic support for and engagement with CSS and its 7 programs.
Annual Giving Director | This position reports to the Chief Development Officer and is responsible for growing a dynamic annual giving program that sustains general operating revenue to advance the mission of Catholic Social Services. The Director of Annual Giving supervises a team of three staff focused on reaching annual goals and maximizing the efforts of Catholic Social Services to fulfill our mission to serve the poor and vulnerable.
