Alaska Catholic Conference of Bishops

The Alaska Catholic Conference of Bishops (ACCB) is the unified voice of the Roman Catholic Bishops in Alaska. Members include Most Reverend Roger L. Schwietz, O.M.I., Archbishop of Anchorage; Most Reverend Donald Kettler, Bishop of Fairbanks, Most Reverend Edward J. Burns, Bishop of Juneau and Most Reverend Francis T. Hurley, Archbishop Emeritus of the Archdiocese of Anchorage.

The ACCB speaks on behalf of the bishops on matters related to public policy including: protection of life, rights of families, protection of the poor and vulnerable in our midst, access to economic opportunity, education issues, immigration policy and climate change to name a few.

To be effective, the ACCB needs your help to communicate with policy makers. You can do this by becoming informed and involved in our public policy group.
