Prayer for Vocations
Lord God, Master of the Harvest,
bless the Archdiocese of Anchorage with workers for your harvest,
so that your Gospel may be preached to every creature.
May they gather us together by the Word of Life,
strengthen us by the power of the sacraments,
and advance us in the way of love.
Choose from our midst an abundance of servants for your Kingdom.
Inspire us with zeal and generosity to encourage
and to support those whom you call to service in your church
whether to the
diaconate, priesthood, consecrated life, or lay ecclesial ministry.
O Virgin Mary, Mother of the Church,
help those whom your son invites to the service of the Gospel
to echo your own trusting YES,
that the work of evangelization
may inspire every tongue to confess
that Jesus Christ is Lord
to the glory of God the Father in the company of the Holy Spirit.
