Caring for God's Creation
Archbishop Schwietz has called all Alaskans to care for God’s creation. He especially calls Catholics to a deeper respect for God’s creation and seeks to engage parishes in activities that deal with environmental problems, particularly as they affect subsistence living, the poor, the marginalized, and the abundant life found in our state of Alaska. To learn more about the Church's approach to these issues, see Caring for God's Creation, a document of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops.
