For example, Brother Francis Shelter has a client and community clothing room that our newly arriving refugees use. This month, Brother Francis Shelter has a shortage of petite women’s clothing and tall, slender sizes for men. If you have clothing that meets this description please consider donating it to Brother Francis Shelter located at 1021 East 3rd Avenue. Thank you!
The Catholic Social Service’s food pantry, St. Francis House has entered its busy season. With children out of school (not receiving free breakfast & lunch) family hunger can spike. On a recent day, CSS served 84 families and struggles to keep food on the shelves during this season of increased demand. Please continue your generous donations of food through your parish collection drives. Thank you!
CSS Front Desk Volunteer Opportunity. Help CSS welcome donors and clients, answer a wide variety of questions and connect people to resources. Please consider volunteering a few hours a week at the Catholic Social Services front desk, located at 3710 East 20th Avenue. We need a volunteer on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 9:00 am – noon.
