May 31 │ Mass for Fr. Vincent Beuzer, SJ celebrating his 50 years as a priest - Holy Spirit Center on Saturday, May 31 at 3pm.
June 1 │ Mass for Fr. Stan Allie celebrating his 50 years as a priest - Sacred Heart Parish in Wasilla on Sunday, June 1 at 3pm.

June 2-5 │ Alaska Catholic Youth Conference (ACYC) -High School youth from throughout Alaska will gather at St Elizabeth Ann Seton church in Anchorage for four days of faith-filled liturgies, workshops, music, service projects and just being present to one another. Parents are invited to attend the various workshops and keynote presentations but need to sign in during registration. June 3 │ The first of two Billings Ovulation Method classes will be held on Tuesday, June 3, at 7pm at Providence Hospital. The follow-up class will be held on June 17 at 7pm. The one-time cost is $40.00 per couple. Classes are held each month on the first and third Tuesdays. If you are unable to attend these scheduled classes, please call so we can arrange a different date. June 7 │ Santacruzan in Alaska! Celebrating Filipino-Religious tradition. Saturday, June 7 - Procession at 12pm - noon (assemble at Conoco Phillips parking lot). June 8 │ Our Lady of Perpetual Help parish in Soldotna is rededicating the old church as the Redeemptorist Center at a Mass – Sunday, June 8 at 5pm. Anyone in the Archdiocese who was involved on the peninsula with the building of the old church/rectory in the beginning, please join us for this celebration. Some of the Redemptorist priests will be joining us. Questions may be directed to Pat Murray, 262-7801.

June 17 │ To mark the one year anniversary of its former pastor, Father Alfred Giebel, St. Benedict's parish will celebrate a Memorial Mass on Tuesday June 17th at 7pm in the parish church. All are invited to attend this Mass in Father Giebel's memory.

June 20th & 27th from 7:00 – 9:00 pm & June 21st & 28th from 1:00 – 3:00 pm - Apologetics workshop presented by Fr. Michael Shields of Magadan Russia – All are invited to join Fr. Mike Shields at St. Patrick Parish to be strengthened in faith and love for the Bible. Topics that will be covered during these sessions are: 1) Apologetic what is it and why is it necessary, 2) One church, 3) The church where the bible came from, 4) Authority passed down by Jesus-Peter the rock, 5) Sole fide (only faith?), 6) Sole scriptura (only the Bible?) , 7) Salvation once and for all or a process, 8) Mary and the Saints and purgatory , 9) The rapture a new tradition of man not taught in the bible, 10) How to share your faith. July 7-11 │"Catechesis of the Good Shepherd" Training Available This form of faith formation utilizes Montessori method for 3-6 year olds. Please join us for a week of training. The Moose Ate Our Flowers . . . Clare House “Virtual” Garden Party 2008. The Garden Party, held at the BP Atrium, has been a traditional fundraiser for Catholic Social Services’ Clare House for many years. This year a few key sponsors were unable to support the Garden Party so we are hosting a “virtual” Garden Party, a new approach to the traditional event. Bishop’s Attic │free pickup services on Tuesdays and Thursdays for donated items - please call 279-6328 to schedule. Bishop Attic is also selling a new cookbook as a fundraiser.
