April 4 │ Lumen Christi High School 2008 Spring Gala: Lumen Christi High School is accepting donations and reservations for its 2008 Spring Gala. The event is set for 6 p.m. April 4 at the Egan Center, and includes dinner plus live and silent auctions. Items up for bid so far include a Utah ski trip, tickets to a Notre Dame football game, fine jewelry, a Caribbean cruise, tools, toys, sporting goods and much more. Tickets are $70 per person, $600 for a family table of 8, and $1,200 for corporate tables. Bring your family, friends and business associates to the Gala. Lumen Christi is the Archdiocese of Anchorage Catholic high school, serving students in grades 7-12 from Anchorage, Eagle River and Palmer. April 9 │ "The Rights and Responsibilities of lay people in the Church according to Canon Law" - Fr. Thomas Brundage, the Judicial Vicar for the Archdiocese of Anchorage, will be giving a talk on the role of the laity in the Catholic Church, it will take place at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church (3900 Wisconsin Street, Anchorage) Wednesday, April 9th at 7:00 p.m. All are welcome to attend.

April 12 │Annual Consecration to Our Lady: The Legion of Mary, Mystical Rose Praesidium, invites you to the Annual Consecration to Our Lady, the Acies, Saturday, April 12, 2008, at 1:00 pm at Holy Family Cathedral, W. 5th Ave. at H Street. Following Benediction, refreshments will be served in the parish hall. This will formally end the Acies for 2008. All are invited to attend the ceremonies and reception.
