VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Lumen Christi High School is in the process of preparing and organizing their library in order to offer students the opportunity to enhance their studies through research via technology as well as the wealth of books now available to them. To make this happen, the school needs retired or other volunteer librarians to assist in the cataloguing of books and keeping the library in appropriate order. Our goal is to have automated cataloging and all in readiness for an active library in September ’08 and continued service into the future.
Currently there are two volunteers who give one-half day per week in the school library. Our hope is that others who have the knowledge and time will grant us a full day or less to complete the time schedule for each school day – Monday through Friday. Please call Shannon Jones, Asst. Principal, for further information at 245-9231. Your help will be gratefully received.
