Instructor: Candace Bell
Objectives: To gain an understanding of apocalyptic literature in general and the Book of Revelation in particular, its symbolism, historical-cultural setting, various interpretations and pastoral implications. An additional objective is to explore various source materials and practice discussing the information learned from them in a clear and accurate manner (as would be necessary in a pastoral setting). Because of this, it is imperative to study the material prior to class.
A list of discussion topics for each class period will be provided shortly.
